Graduate Acoustic Consultant

My client is an acoustic consultancy established in 2003, offering a wide range of services, including noise and vibration testing, ventilation testing, and sustainable design creations. The company's project portfolio encompasses commercial, residential, educational, and entertainment spaces, as well as refurbishments, providing a diverse range of projects. They place significant emphasis on providing comprehensive training and development opportunities to all employees, including one-to-one mentorship for graduates.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Bachelor's (BSc) and/or a Master's (MSc) degree in Acoustics or a related discipline with membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to commute to various sites at short notice

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite testing, including noise and vibration surveys
  • Liaise with key site managers and other site stakeholders
  • Undertake acoustic modelling using software such as CaDnaA, Odeon, Insul, and Revit
