The Company:
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be working with a renowned acoustic consultancy based in Bristol. They are known for providing expert acoustic design and consultancy services, covering architectural acoustics, environmental noise, and building acoustics. With over 40 years in the industry, they have a broad background and are involved with a wide variety of projects
Role responsibilities include:
- Collecting acoustical data and computer modelling, using CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, Revit, and other software modelling tools.
- Liaising with key professionals.
- Providing noise and vibration solutions, according to Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
- Preparing accurate technical reports, according to company training.
Ideal candidate will need:
- A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, involving Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
- A motivated attitude and be able to learn quickly.
- An interest in coding and script writing.
- Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
- Keen to become a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
- UK driver's license.
