Graduate Design Engineer

Graduate Design Engineer required for my client who are a market leader within mechanical and chemical engineering, based near to Derby.

They are investing in research & development to ensure they remain at the forefront of this rapidly growing market. They are looking to recruit individuals with the right attitude, focus and enthusiasm to join their engineering team.

The successful junior engineer will have an engineering understanding within chemical and mechanical properties, so they can develop into leading manufacturing processes and research and development projects.

Graduate Design Engineer Position Overview
* Experimental Prototyping - Create working prototypes using cutting edge manufacturing equipment and CNC machines.
* Product Design - combining knowledge of design, engineering and manufacturing processes to create innovative new products.
* Research & Development Lab - Plan and carry out rigorous development testing of new and existing products to British and international standards.
* New product Integration - Design.

Graduate Design Engineer Position Requirements
* Degree qualified within an engineering discipline / or similar field.
* Experienced in of Auto CAD 3D design software.
* Proficient within all Microsoft office packages.
* Engineering understanding within chemical and mechanical properties.
Good practical / hands on understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Based within a commutable distance of Derby.
* Full UK driving licence is preferable.

Graduate Design Engineer Position Remuneration
* Salary - £25,000 to £27,000 - dependent upon skill, experience and qualifications.
* Full time position - Monday to Thursday - 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2:30pm.
* Holiday package - 23 days plus banh holidays.
