We seek an outstanding Graduate with an engineering background who is eager to leverage their current expertise while transitioning into a Process Improvement role.

This is a prime opportunity to take up the role of Graduate Trainee, Process Improvement within this successful and growing group of British companies specialising in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Initial training involves:

  • Business cost modelling
  • Business capacity modelling
  • 90-day plan principles
  • Cost and activity identification reduction principles
  • Working capital principles and optimisation
  • Analysis of data across all functions and analysis to drive activity linked to financial performance
  • Business Process Optimisation

Skills and Experience required:

  • Degree (BEng/MEng) in an engineering field - ideally electrical/mechanical
  • 1-2 years' practical engineering experience within a large corporate
  • Ideally a professional accreditation - Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng)
  • Lean process understanding, ideally some practical experience of implementing lean led improvements
  • Leadership and management skills
  • A good understanding of business financials
