Are you a geology, geoscience, engineering geology or geotechnical engineering graduate seeking your first role in Ground Investigation? This award winning geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based near Huddersfield are seeking a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join the team on a range of exciting projects. You'll be provided with excellent training from a team of specialist engineers and consultants to apply your knowledge and kickstart your career

The Graduate Engineering Geologist selected will be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations and desk studies, taking soil samples, bore-hole logging, preparing phase plans, writing factual and interpretive reports, working on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.

This Graduate Engineering Geologist position offers:

This Graduate Engineering Geologist position requires no previous industry experience. Candidates must however:

• Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
• Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills, with a particular interest in ground investigation.
• Be willing to work outdoors on hands on projects.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be commutable to Huddersfield and the surrounding area.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
