The Role:

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Finance Assistant to join our client's team in Pontypridd. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the finance department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and contributing to the smooth running of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments
  • Conducting reconciliations of accounts
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team

About You:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eager to learn and develop within a finance role
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
