An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join a busy team in Crewe, driving financial accuracy and efficiency within the Accounting & Finance department.

Client Details

Our client is a well-respected player in their industry, boasting a large organisation size. With a focus on innovation and commitment to providing top-notch services, they are renowned for their professional environment and strong team ethics.

They are looking for a bright, junior, candidate to join their team. Prior knowledge of working in a similar role is not essential, but beneficial.

I am looking for a Graduate with a placement year, AAT studier or an ambitious Graduate looking for an opportunity to carve a finance career.

Description

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of journal entries for month end
  • Process monthly expenses
  • Monthly balance sheet
  • Assist with year-end audit deliverables
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Fixed assets and depreciation posting
  • Processing weekly ad hoc payments
  • Working closely with the commercial team and wider stakeholders

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A relevant numerate degree - Essential
  • Or Studying towards AAT Qualification - Essential
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
  • Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
  • Have the desire to become a Qualified Accountant - Essential

Job Offer
