Graduate Fire Safety Engineer – Manchester - £35,000

I am currently representing a leading fire safety design consultancy, an independent provider of high-quality, client-focused solutions. With decades of combined experience, this well-established company has worked on a range of commercial and residential fire safety projects across the UK.

This dynamic consultancy is now looking to expand its team of talented fire safety engineers in Manchester. The experienced team offers a variety of services across consultancy and design, specialising in sectors such as commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Salary package:

• £28,000 - £35,000

Role Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of fire strategies for a wide range of building types
• Learn to interpret and apply UK fire safety legislation, guidance, and standards
• Support senior engineers on live projects, client meetings, and technical reviews
• Use industry software to carry out fire modelling and risk analysis (training provided)
• Take part in internal training sessions and CPD activities

Key Requirements

• Beng/BSc or better, with a grade of at least 2:1
• A keen interest in fire safety and the built environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Previous understanding of UK fire safety guidance is a bonus but not essential
