Role overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Full Stack Developer to join our Defence and Security company. As a Graduate Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications that support the needs of our customers. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, and contribute to the development of software solutions that enhance our national security. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements, and design effective solutions
- Create and maintain database objects, including tables, views, and stored procedures
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of customer-facing and internal applications and their user interfaces, adhering to best practices in application development
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with security standards
- Perform code reviews and ensure that code is well-documented and follows coding standards and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations in software development
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely support to end-users
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and database design principles
- Knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
