Graduate Project Engineer - Birkenhead

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team based in our Head Office in Birkenhead, Wirral. We are looking for motivated and ambitious Engineering graduates to progress from Project Engineers, where a solid technical engineering basis will be established, through to future leaders and managers within our organisation.

Our Company

Crowder Consulting is a professional business of consulting engineers, software developers and data analysts. We are positioned in a niche area of the water industry providing solutions to save water and protect the natural environment.

Through our leading Water Network Management System, Netbase, along with our engineering consultancy and data analytics services, we help both UK and international water operators manage their networks more efficiently and reduce water losses in a responsible manner.

Our software and services are used by major water operators in the UK and Ireland, South East Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean and South America. We work with international partners and are often an integral part of major network improvement projects.

The term 'smart water’ is used in the industry for the type of software and consultancy services that we provide, and indeed we are at the forefront of innovation towards the advanced use of sensors, controls, modelling and analysis for future network management.

Established in 1985, the growing team of over 120 employees are at the heart of what Crowder does, which is why the business is proud to have been Investors in People accredited since 2004, a testament to the company’s commitment to developing all personnel.

Crowder benefits from a longstanding dedicated workforce, and continued growth plans provide superb career opportunities within the business, making this a great time to join as a Graduate Project Engineer. We have an accredited CIWEM scheme for the development of our professional consultancy staff to become Chartered Engineers, Chartered Environmentalists and Chartered Water and Environmental Managers.
