Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Project Assistant

Exciting NEW role after recent modernisation and organisational changes - opportunity to be an instrumental part of installation and commercial team.

This role requires commercial awareness, ideally a Quantity Surveying graduate with industry experience and knowledge looking to take on a standalone role (with support from the Commercial Director and Project Team) and make their mark in an established SME.

You will need experience in contract administration, ensuring precise cost control and budgeting and a proven record of delivering construction schemes. We are looking for an organised, motivated individual with a real get stuck in personality. This role is what you make it!

Brief description of responsibilities:

  • Budget establishment and meticulous cost reporting
  • Scrutinising contract terms and procurement of subcontract packages
  • Managing contractual administration
  • Championing effective delay analysis and claim submissions
  • Safeguarding commercial interests through variation and compensation event mechanisms
  • Ensuring that installation project costs are managed throughout the project life cycle
  • Working with the pre-tender team to ensure they are in the best possible position.
