Graduate Shipping Operator

We are looking for a recent graduate with a relevant degree within shipping, logistics (or similar) or someone who has had some experience within a logistical team (preferrably within commodities) to work with a prominent Metals Trading Company based in London. Responsibilities:

• Analyze shipping and logistics data to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with shipping partners to ensure timely delivery of commodities to clients.
• Facilitate the processing of letters of credit and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Monitor vessel schedules and manage freight contracts to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline logistics processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure accuracy in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders on shipment status and potential issues.
