A Tower Hamlets secondary school are looking to appoint two Graduates from September to work as teaching assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for two Graduates who are thinking about a career in teaching and are looking for a teaching assistant role to grow and develop from September.

For a number of years this East London secondary school have worked closely with Graduates who are aspiring secondary school teachers. You will get the opportunity to grow and develop and will be working in a supportive environment alongside experienced teachers.

The school are looking for individuals who are thinking about training to become a teacher in the future and are looking to use the teaching assistant role as a way to gain invaluable paid secondary school experience which will stand you in good stead should you decide to train to become a teacher.

As a secondary teaching assistant you will be working closely with students of all ages and abilities in a wide range of subject areas.

You will need to have some form of paid or voluntary experience with young people. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as youth work, sports coaching, tuition, voluntary school work….
