Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are working with a mainstream primary school that are looking for passionate and bubbly graduates to work as teaching assistants for September 2024. As a teaching assistant, your roles will vary from working as a general teaching assistant, to working 1:1 when needed with children from Y1-Y6. This 2-form entry school is an Ofsted rated "Good" school, that consistently maintains good quality of education for its pupils. The school are committed to providing an inclusive environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially. Their team of educators and support staff work together to provide high quality education to all pupils and push them to achieve their full potential.

We require dedicated graduates who have a passion to work with children to work alongside teachers helping to support teaching and learning. Training will be provided throughout the year, and the school will help guide you. Previous experience is not necessary, you just need to have the right attitude! Trial days are currently taking place so please so send over your CV ASAP.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am-4:00pm

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Offer one-to-one and group support to students across various subjects.
  • Collaborate in the planning and delivery of educational activities and lessons.
  • Assist teachers in preparing materials and resources throughout the day.
  • Prioritise the safety and well-being of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote active student engagement and participation during activities.
