Now you have your BA/Bsc degree, you are ready for the Slough based Teacher Training! The Primary school, rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted want their next injection of enthusiasm and youthful teaching style.

By joining the Slough Primary School in the Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will be launch your Teaching career. Take on a year's worth of on the job experience, developing your management and classroom style.

The role - Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Salary: £83.33 - £90 per day, term time. Pay increase post QTS qualification.
  • Location: Slough, SL1 - great for neighbouring locations (Wokingham, Reading, Windsor, Maidenhead).
  • Contract: 1 Academic year - September 2024 to July 2025.
  • Working with individuals in 1:1s or with small groups, developing their KS2 learning and listening skills.
  • Supporting teachers and staff, providing structured learning activities and assisting where required. Classroom wide and more SEN related support (ASD/ADHD/Dyslexia).
  • Great for aspiring teachers!

*Potential opportunities for the successful candidate to be support on a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) course.*
