talentED are working with Primary Schools throughout the Lowestoft area who are looking for enthusiastic graduates that are looking to gain more classroom experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Our graduate positions will give you development opportunities in the classroom, small group settings and on 1:1 basis - giving you a fantastic platform to learn! These roles are starting from September 2024 and schools are looking to meet/interview potential candidates as soon as possible.

What does a Graduate Teaching Assistant do?:

  • Assist the class teacher with classroom activities, work closely with students in small groups, and when you feel comfortable, lead your own lessons
  • Gain valuable classroom knowledge and behaviour management experience
  • Individualised Support: Make a difference by providing one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs, fostering their growth and development.
  • Pastoral Mentorship: Guide students facing behavioural challenges, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve academic success

Are You the Right Fit?

  • Recent or soon-to-be graduate from a UK university
  • Hold a degree with a 2:2 classification or above in any field
  • Available to work full or part-time between 8:30 am to 4 pm
  • Passionate about education and eager to explore career opportunities in educational settings

When can you start?

  • We have positions that start immediately that will run until the end of July
  • Or positions that start for September 2024
  • Depending on your schedule, you can work for 1 term, 2 or the full academic year
