This school is actively seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant on a full-time, basis in Norwich.

Contract Type: Full Time, Long-term, Temp to Perm

Start Date: Sept 2024

Working Hours: Between 32 & 35 hours per week, from 8.30am to 3.30pm

Job Responsibilities:

Work within small groups and on a 1:1 basis to provide instructional support.
Demonstrate confidence and understanding while engaging with students.
Follow instructions from teachers to support effectively in the classroom.
Adhere to professional practice standards, including confidentiality, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion policies.
Support students on a 1:1 basis or in groups, adapting your approach on a case-by-case basis to engage students effectively.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline, or relevant experience.
A genuine passion for education and a desire to gain classroom experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic secondary school environment
