Graduate Teaching Assistant - Ofsted Rated "Good" School in Romford

We are a vibrant secondary school in Romford, rated "Good" by Ofsted, and we are seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to support our KS3 and KS4 pupils across various subjects. This is an ideal role for bright and enthusiastic graduates in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, and Performing Arts who are looking to gain valuable experience in education.

Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, Fixed-term (with potential for extension)

About the Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and helping them achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects.
  • Assisting teachers in the classroom with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting students with varying learning needs, including those who require additional help.
  • Contributing to the school's extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.
