Graduate Technical Analyst - Insurtech - London Python / SQL

My client is one of the UK’s fastest growing and most exciting Insurtech firms.

They have a great opportunity for a Graduate Technical Analyst.

They are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient graduate to join their team as a Graduate Technical Analyst.

This role is ideal for someone with strong skills in Python, R, or Excel (including VBA), and a keen interest in the Insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in demonstrating our system capabilities, converting and integrating models, and ensuring seamless API connections.


Key Responsibilities:

• Model Integration: Quickly and accurately convert spreadsheet models into our system, ensuring compatibility and functionality.


• Client Demonstrations: Present the integrated models back to clients, ensuring they understand and appreciate the system’s capabilities.


• VBA to Python/SQL Conversion: Convert existing VBA models into Python scripts or SQL queries to improve efficiency and integration.


• API Setup and Integration: Establish and manage API connections between our system and external systems, ensuring smooth data exchange.


Qualifications:
• Education:
Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, R, or Excel (including VBA). Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Interest in Insurance: A demonstrated interest in the Insurance industry and its applications.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with API integrations and data exchange protocols.
• Familiarity with database management systems.
