SupportED Recruitment in York is looking for a graduate trainee recruitment consultant to join them on a permanent basis. SupportED Recruitment is a small family run education supply business with a large presence in York, the surrounding areas and Leeds. We are one of the largest education agencies in the York area and we are run by teachers! Due to our continued success in providing a first class service to schools and teachers we need help to further grow the business and deal with current demand.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop within a small friendly company where the sky's the limit. You will be able to learn all aspects of the industry and sector in an environment that focusses more on service than sales. You will be based at our new offices in the grounds of a central York primary school.

The right candidate will have a passion for education and business in equal measure!

The role will include:

Utilising various recruitment channels to source and attract teaching professionals.

Screening and interviewing potential candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and suitability for positions.

Market Research - Staying informed about trends and changes in the education sector.

Conducting market research to identify potential clients and candidates.

Administrative Tasks including maintaining accurate records of candidate and client interactions.

Assisting in the preparation of contracts, booking forms and timesheets

Dealing with on call / out of hours requests for teaching staff

Helping develop strong relationships with our existing schools and also identifying new opportunities

You will be:

A graduate with a degree (we will also consider someone with existing relevant recruitment experience)

Confident communicator and someone who enjoys building relationships

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Committed, proactive, self-motivated, resilient and reliable

Professional, sociable, and friendly

Motivated to develop a career in recruitment

Previous experience with schools is desirable but not essential

Working Hours:

Flexible office hours around school term time but the requirement to help out with the on call requests during term time.
