Artisan Rollers Cylindrical Grinder:

 

• Location: Hemel Hempstead
• Hourly Rate: £14.50 p/h
• Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Cylindrical Grinder to join a rubber roller specialist-manufacturer producing rollers for the printing and food manufacturing industries. This role includes general engineering and workshop duties within a small to medium-sized enterprise.

What You’ll Do:

- Operate grinding machinery and lathes to craft and repair rubber rollers

- Conduct general workshop and engineering operations

- Collaborate with the team to enhance processes

Desired Skills:

- Has experience with grinding, milling and turning machinery

- Experience turning or grinding any material with interest to work with PVC, Nitrile, Silicone, Fluorocarbon, Polyurethane, Natural rubber, Neoprene, EPDM or Hypalon

- Able to work to tolerance finish to give either a plain or profiled surface

- Enjoys the workshop environment
