VNA Recruitment are currently recruiting for diligent and proactive Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our esteemed client, a leading provider of landscaping and grounds maintenance services.

The Role:

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that various outdoor spaces are kept in pristine condition. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Grass cutting and lawn care
  • Hedge trimming and pruning
  • Weed control and planting
  • Basic tree care
  • Maintenance of equipment and tools
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention
  • Operate a variety of garden machinery safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects to a high standard
  • Maintain clear and open communication with the site supervisor
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar position
  • Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape maintenance
  • Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment and machinery
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
