Position: Group Acccountant

Location: London

Salary: £62 - 68k + Bonus

The Role:

Communciate is currently working with a FTSE 250 company within the tech sector. They are actively recruiting a qualified Group Accountant with a strong Practice background to join the team and report to the head of Group Reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Head of Group Reporting in all aspects of financial and statutory reporting as required
  • Provision of technical accounting advice, including the drafting of accounting papers and policy documents
  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly and quarterly consolidated information for variety of stakeholders
  • Assistance with audit and preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts
  • Contribute to ongoing programme of continuous process improvement
  • Assist in Group month and quarter end close and consolidation
  • Development of a good working relationship with finance teams across the global business
  • Preparation of financial information for ad hoc management requests
  • Participate in various Group led projects as required

About You:

  • ACA qualified - preferably with Big 4
  • At least 2 years PQE
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS essential (in global context (eg multinational/Large Private or PE etc)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in addressing complex accounting issues
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills and a can do attitude
