IN2Consult are working with a UK Insurance company that are on the lookout for a Group Accountant to join the team. This role requires someone who is looking to take that next step into new territory & you will need an attitude that reflects that. For the right candidate, they can offer up to £45,000 pa & they offer three days of remote working per week. Please see below the responsibilities & skills required -

Responsibilities -

  • Work closely with the Finance teams and other stakeholders in the UK and Continental Europe
  • Assist in month end, quarterly and year end closing process of the Group accounts, working with teams across the Group
  • Support the accurate and timely preparation of the annual financial statements for Group entities and the consolidated Group accounts in line with Group policies and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Undertake core finance operations including transactional processing, ledger maintenance, accounts payable processes, etc.
  • Support the collation and consolidation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports for senior stakeholders on a timely basis
  • Build relationships and work with several external stakeholders including auditors, consultants, bankers, regulators and other third parties
  • To act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers whilst delivering a higher standard of customer care and enabling consumers to make effective decisions in their interests

Skills Required -

  • Part qualified
  • Excellent level of communication 
  • Strong MS Excel 
  • Experience in transactional finance & management accounting
