A specialist provider of Trust, Fund, and Corporate Services is expanding its London operation and seeks to hire a Group Client Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant (or one nearing qualification) with experience in professional services, particularly in Trust/Corporate Services, to advance their career.

Role Summary:
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the London office, the Group Client Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Client Accounting Departments across the group. This role includes overseeing operations in various group offices and developing a centralised Group Client Accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and continuously optimise automated accounting and bookkeeping systems for both bookkeeping and investment reporting.
  • Standardize and optimize client accounting processes across all offices.
  • Review, update, and maintain policies and procedures across the group.
  • Optimize regulatory and financial reporting processes.
  • Coordinate inter-office client accounting capacity management by balancing workloads between offices.
  • Assist the Executive Director with staff management and development across various office locations.
  • Attend external client and intermediary meetings with the Director, assist in follow-ups, and support new client onboarding.
  • Maintain the Salesforce database for new business opportunities in the London office.
  • Support the Executive Director with ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Oversee the recruitment and development of junior staff members.
