Greenwell Gleeson are pleased to be working with a successful, high growth Manufacturing business based in Redditch to recruit a Group Finance Manager to report into the Head of Finance.

Job Role Description:

  • Responsibility for the management and preparation of monthly financials, forecasts and budgets and day to day financial operations across multiple group entities.

  • Assist with the development and management of financial processes and procedures across the group.

  • Assist with planning and co-ordinating the annual group audit including quarterly reviews and periodic bank audits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of month-end accounts, financial reports, forecasts and budgets for group related entities.

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of group entities.

  • Continuous development of financial information systems to support the delivery of budgets, forecasts and other data and financial analysis.

  • Working with the Group Finance team to plan, manage and co-ordinate the annual group audit.

  • Assist with monitoring the operations and workflow processes of the Finance department to ensure that all duties and responsibilities of the department are carried out in an efficient, accurate, timely and standardised manner along with implementing Group finance policies.

  • Assisting with ad-hoc presentations, financial analysis and reporting projects as requested by senior management.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

  • Well experienced in management accounts production in a corporate group environment.

  • An ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the group.

  • Team-focused with the ability to work efficiently and independently towards accounts production deadlines.

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with all other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • The ability to establish priorities and organise work assignments.

  • A committed professional, determined to continuously improve the services provided by the Finance function to the Group and to ensure consistency and standardised finance related reporting and processes throughout the group.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP and Sage 50 is preferred but not essential.
