Group Finance Manager, Hospitality
Location: London, UK
£55,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus + pension
 
Are you a newly qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA accountant looking to take your first step into management or transition from practice? Alternatively, you may already work in hospitality and be seeking your next career move into a Group Head of Finance role. This opportunity offers a move into a dynamic and expanding company within the hospitality industry for a technically sound and commercial individual.  
 
As a Group Finance Manager, you will be joining a contemporary and rapidly growing hospitality brand that operates 20 sites across 12 countries in Europe. Based at the Head Office in London, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's targeted expansion plans and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory Reporting:
  • Support the Group Financial Controller throughout the audit process
  • Produce UK subsidiary accounts
  • Maintain IFRS 16 Lease Schedules
  • Prepare share options calculations and management fee breakdowns
Monthly Reporting:
  • Coordinate the management account process
  • Review journal postings of management accountants
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain the intercompany matrix and fixed asset register
Policies and Processes:
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller with process implementation
Management:
  • Manage and mentor 3 Management Accountants
Other Duties:
  • Address queries from the Operations Team and investigate ways to add value
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and prepare UK VAT returns
Requirements:
  • Qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA 
  • Experience with Group Consolidations and IFRS
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Commitment to meeting tight reporting deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage both personal and team workloads effectively
  • Strong planning and quality control skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Advanced Excel skills
