Group Finance Manager

An opportunity to work within a technology company supporting the International business as part of the Corporate Reporting team. The position is responsible for providing IFRS and technical expertise to the Group on new and existing accounting standards, assisting with the international consolidation, as well as reporting and analysis for the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of International monthly consolidation & producing reporting packs
• Assist with year end audit of the consolidation and reporting packs
• Assist in the production of statutory accounts aligning with any new IFES standards for the parent company
• Ad hoc projects and other external reporting requirements

This role is best suited to someone who is happy to cover a broad spectrum of work. Someone who has up to date knowledge of IFRS standards, preferably a qualified accountant, and the ability to apply these to a large corporation and write technical accounting papers where necessary. Prior knowledge of consolidations is desirable.

Excel skills are paramount to the role and the ability to work with formulas and pivot data is essential. PowerPoint skills are desirable as this is often used in report creation, candidates should have a good command of Microsoft office products.

Prior use of Hyperion, Business Intelligence and SAP is desirable, but not essential.
