Our client is a global business and they are constantly looking for ways to innovate and grow.

Their finance team has evolved throughout their journey and following an internal move they are looking for a qualified accountant to join their busy finance function.

This role has a reporting focus and will suit someone who is looking to make their first move out of a large firm and duties will include

Production of weekly and monthly reporting pack for business units

  • Coordination of budget and forecast figures
  • Controls review and testing
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Year end subsidiary pack production and consolidation
  • Supporting with group audit, handling and responding to requests for information
  • Investigating areas of improvement and suggesting improvements
  • Ad hoc project work

A post-qualified accountant, the suitable candidate will be someone who has worked on large audits within a recognised firm and is looking to make their first move into a commercial role.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential as this role will be interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

This role will be based in modern offices in Alconbury and you will have the option to work from home one day a week.
