Orka Financial is working with a services business based in Maidenhead to recruit a Group Financial Accountant that will join their Finance Team. The business operates hybrid working from their offices in Maidenhead.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights post-acquisition.
• Preparing merger and acquisition accounting entries
• Lead the preparation of year end statutory accounts ensuring all relevant disclosures are included.
• Act as a lead for audit preparation and queries
• Leading the audit process ensuring all relevant disclosures are included.
• Managing the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, investigating, and resolving differences between the various entities.
• Supporting consolidated revenue reporting, ensure monthly reported numbers are reconciled across the Group.

Profile:
• The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with a strong track record in preparing consolidated statutory and subsidiary accounts
• A thorough understanding of IFRS is essential, along with the ability to manage reporting in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills using large volumes of data from multiple sources
• Experience of group consolidation
• Able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient and comfortable in applying accounting standards
• Continuous enhancement and process improvement
• Advanced Excel skills

Salary:
£55,000-£65,000 + bonus + benefits
