I am happy to be supporting a tech company in Hertfordshire and I am seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller. This is a 6 month FTC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Consolidation
  • Internal Controls and Risk Management
  • Treasury Management
  • Tax Planning and Compliance
  • Financial Systems Enhancement
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Team Leadership

The ideal candidate is/has:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Minimum of 8 years post qualification experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a multinational manufacturing or industrial company.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS, and associated tax regulatory framework.
  • Experience managing financial operations in the UK, including currency hedging, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in financial systems and ERP platforms (experience of SAGE 200 is an advantage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficient in consolidation tools such as Cognos, Hyperion or Tagetik.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
