Group Financial Controller
Group Financial Controller- Slough (2 days p/w in the office)- Up to £130k plus car and bonus (up to 50%) - Permanent- ACA/ACCA- Blue Chip PLC
IN2 Consult is partnering with an internationally recognisable PLC on the recruitment of a hands on Group Financial Controller
to join their group finance function. This role focuses on leading the group reporting function leading on year-end statutory reporting, group
consolidations and driving process improvements.
This position is best suited to candidates from an audit background with 3+ years within a group level role in a fast paced PLC environment.
The Key responsibilities for this Group Financial Controller role include:
- Owning the group consolidation process of over 100 entities
- Leading the preparation of year-end statutory accounts in line with IFRS standards
- Drive strong internal controls processes across the organisation
- Lead on the year-end group audit
- Partner with key stakeholders such as the CFO, CEO and other C-Suite stakeholders
- Line manage a team of qualified group finance professionals
- Drive process improvement across group reporting
- Provide guidance on complex IFRS standards
The ideal candidate for this Group Financial Controller role should have the following experience:
- ACA/ICAEW/ACCA Fully Qualified
- Strong hands on understanding of complex IFRS standards
- Strong experience in group reporting and group consolidations of a large number of entities (80+)
- Experience in working within a Large PLC group environment is a must have requirement
- Be from an audit firm background with post-practice industry experience
- Ideally have experience in working for a UK Listed PLC
- Track record of improving key processes
