Group Financial Controller

Macildowie Finance are currently working with a diverse and exciting, technology driven business based in Leicester to recruit a Group Financial Controller on a permanent basis.
The business currently operates a hybrid working policy - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
The business has exciting plans for expansion and has just had a stellar year operationally and financially.
The role will touch all areas of the business and have a genuine opportunity to drive process improvements and business strategy.
Reporting into the MD, the role will be responsible for:
Management, coaching and development of the Finance team.
Oversee and review all month end management accounting and year end statutory reporting, ensuring that all internal and external frameworks are adhered to.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant Accounting Standards.
Take a lead on the budgeting and forecasting process across the business, working with Heads of Functions and Directors to ensure a standardised and timely process is used across the entire business.
Support the wider business and in particular the Senior Management team by providing ad hoc modelling and analysis.
Cash flow reporting and management
Work closely with the external audit, banking, HMRC and insurance providers.
To be considered for this role you must be qualified ACA/ACCA CIMA ideally you will have operated within a Group environment previously.
Previous line management experience is essential.
