Role - Group Financial Controller Location - Cheadle Salary - Between £80,000 and £100,000 + additional benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a PE backed services organisation in their search for a Group Financial Controller to work out of their office based in Cheadle with occasional international travel.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified with an accountancy practice background. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of working for a PE backed business would be advantageous. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working on acquisitions would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Group Financial Controller role will involve:

  • Responsible for the group reporting structure
  • Lead on the timely delivery of management reporting
  • Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation
  • Assist with providing financial information for acquisitions,
  • Prepare and review year end statutory accounts
  • Responsible for the group VAT
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Produce and present key financial reporting
  • Management of a finance team with reports in the UK an internationally

Salary for the role is anywhere between £80,000 - £100,000 + additional benefits
