Group Financial Controller 12-Month Contract | £600–£700 per day (Umbrella) | London (Hybrid)
We're supporting a global organisation in the search for a Group Financial Controller on an initial 12-month contract. This hybrid London-based role offers a day rate of £600–£700 (Umbrella) and is ideal for a senior finance professional with strong international experience and a sharp focus on cashflow management. The Key Focus: You’ll be the driving force behind refining and embedding a 13-week short-term cashflow forecasting model. The tool is built—now it needs your expertise to ensure it’s accurate, operationally sound, and ready to be transitioned to a Managed Service Provider. Key Responsibilities:
Own and refine the 13-week cashflow forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and usability across global teams.
Oversee global financial control operations—monthly close, balance sheet integrity, intercompany processes, and compliance.
Lead cash repatriation initiatives, managing intercompany settlements and dividends.
Drive insight into working capital and implement improvement strategies across subsidiaries.
Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and external partners to ensure aligned financial operations and risk management.
About You:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive experience in global finance leadership.
Proven track record in cashflow forecasting and financial control across international operations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in complex, matrixed environments.
Confident working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and managing outsourced finance teams.
