Group Head of HR
CMA HR is working exclusively with a thriving, high performing business in Southampton, Hampshire to recruit to Group Head of HR on a permanent basis.
Working closely with the CEO our client is well established in its market and currently embarking on large scale growth plans in the short and medium term. The role is to replace the current incumbent who is proud of the changes and achievements implemented and would like the legacy of the HR team to continue to flourish.
What will Group Head of HR role involve?
- Oversee the current team, driving performance and development
- Partner with the senior stakeholders to implement the People Strategy
- Develop and manage a program to ensure alignment between role, skills and performance
- Manage the groups talent acquisition approach
- Maintain and recommend changes and additions to the Groups HR policies and procedures
Suitable Candidate for Group Head of HR vacancy:
- CIPD Level 7 qualified is desired or equivalent experience
- Experience managing a HR team with a track record of contributing to the management of change
- Sound knowledge of employment law, comfortable operating at an operational level in addition to the strategic projects
