Group Management Accountant | Manchester city centre | £50,000 - £55,000 | Software

Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a software SME based in Manchester that have created a new role in their team for a Group Management Accountant.

The business are looking to bring the accounting function of 3 international entities in-house, so experience working for an international business is required.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
  • Work with our in-country finance team to ensure completion of the month end close process for the entities
  • Complete the cashflow forecasting for review with CFO
  • Provide monthly commentary and variance analysis for performance to forecast
  • Business partnering with General Managers and stakeholders across the
  • Ensure all relevant taxes payable are dealt with locally with in-country accountants
  • Assist with consolidation of entities prior to submission to Uber
  • Work with other team members to ensure deadlines are met for month end and ad hoc reporting into Group
  • Supporting the development of 1 accounts assistant
  • Assist with migration of international entities into the accounting system

Person specification:
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Experience working for an international business
  • Knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
