Group Management Accountant – Nottingham – £45,000 - £50,000

An exciting opportunity with a growing business, operating for over 40 years in the logistics market. Our client is looking for an experienced accountant who is enthusiastic about leading a team.

Group Management Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Managing and developing a small finance team of 3
  • Prepare and create management accounts, including P&L for multiple sites, including consolidation, detailed variance analysis and commentary
  • Sales analysis and cost breakdown
  • Journals, accruals and prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Internal and External reporting
  • WIP / Stock management and reconciliations
  • Statutory accounts and audit preparation
  • Projects – continuous improvements
  • Support with the implementation of a new system
Required Skills & Experience:

  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • Leadership, coaching and mentoring – enthusiastic leader
  • Ability to handle multiple task priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Previous experience in distribution, logistics or transport industry would be advantageous
