One of the world’s best-recognised media groups is in the market for an ambitious recently qualified accountant to join their Group Reporting team. This is a broad role offering the successful candidate exposure to acquisitions, integrations and systems/process improvement processes. It offers a unique opportunity to make an active contribution to the reporting and analysis of this multinational’s worldwide operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed financial analysis for review by senior management to inform decision-making
  • Contributing to all interim and full-year consolidation activities for the group; supporting subsidiary finance teams in the collation of insightful data
  • Completing monthly consolidation activities alongside the Group Reporting Manager
  • Delivering half-year and year-end reporting, providing analysis of results for the stock exchange
  • Working closely with the tax team and the wider business to meet all external audit requirements

The successful candidate will be recently qualified, likely having commenced their career in an audit firm. They will have experience of having audited complex consolidated accounts and knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Individuals will be articulate team players with clear career ambitions.
