Group Reporting Accountant

A FTSE 100 digital advertising, marketing, and technology business are looking to appoint a Group Reporting Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing dynamic business that is in the process of strengthening its finance team to ensure that the business has a finance team capable of supporting business growth whilst maintaining a strong control environment and meeting its reporting requirements.

This is a critical role within the business, involved in the group consolidation and external reporting processes, with the chance to work on adhoc projects with exposure to a range of senior stakeholders.

In order to succeed in the role:

• A qualified chartered accountant (e.g. ACA/ACCA)
• Efficient with excellent time management skills
• Ability to wok autonomously and as part of a team
• Working knowledge of IFRS desirable but not essential
• Working knowledge of consolidation systems an advantage
• Relevant industry experience an advantage
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with local and global finance teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to

• Supporting the monthly close process to ensure timely and efficient reporting, including review of divisional data submissions within the consolidation system
• Assisting with the intercompany reconciliation and elimination process
• Supporting the year end and half year external reporting process
• Preparation of financial statement sections including review of submissions from global finance teams
• Assistance with the preparation and review of the subsidiary statutory accounts
• Liaising and managing external advisors and auditors
• Support adhoc projects e.g. systems (ERP/reporting tools)
• Continuously improving reporting outputs, processes and systems
• Manage and build relationships with internal stakeholders and teams and external auditors
