Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Location: Milton Keynes

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Reporting Accountant to join a client of ours on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on tackling accounting and finance challenges, enjoys working with diverse teams, and has a knack for building strong relationships. The position offers the chance to work on a variety of periodic reporting tasks as well as get involved in numerous ad-hoc projects.

What you'll do:

As a Group Reporting Accountant, your primary responsibility will be:

• Managing various periodic reporting tasks.

• Prepare statutory annual financial statements
• Assist in preparing external reporting packs and quarterly regulatory reports to FCA
• Support new projects and testing activities as required
• Streamline and standardise existing processes to improve efficiency
• Develop strong working relationships with the wider Finance team and key contacts around the Group

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Group Reporting Accountant role will bring:

• Sound knowledge of FRS102 and UKGAAP statutory reporting
• Awareness of FCA regulations and Financial Services
• Strong accounting and financial reporting background
• Previous experience operating as an Accountant within a Financial Services environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritise to meet deadlines
