Group Reservations Agent

Group Reservations Agent opportunity available for a hotel in the East Grinstead area. Transport will be required.

As Group Reservations Agent candidates require either similar reservations experience. The role requires that you make bedroom / spa reservations. Good administration and computer skills are also essential for this opportunity.

The Role

As a Group Reservations Agent, you will be working within a team of 14 along with the Group Reservations Manager and be responsible for handling telephone enquiries and administering guest bedroom bookings from enquiry to confirmation. As a Group Reservations Agent, you need a friendly warm personality and be enthusiastic about hotels and keen to help the guest with planning their stay and choosing the best options for them to ensure total satisfaction.

• Enquiry handling on the telephone
• Giving information on bedroom and spa availability and rate structure across several hotels
• Inputting reservations for bedroom, spa, restaurant and lounge bookings
• Liaising with the Group Spa Reservations/Spa Reception team for beauty treatment requests
• Administering bookings and actioning accurate and timely confirmations to all guests, online, by email and by letter

Requirements as a Group Reservations Agent

• Excellent telephone manner
• Computerised reservation experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail when direct inputting data into the systems
• Available to work 5 days on a rota basis including weekend shifts (1 weekend off in 3). The office opens 8am - 6.30pm so your 7.5 hr shifts will be completed between these hours.

The salary for the vacancy of Group Reservations Agent is given as £25,000 + £2,000 guaranteed share of service charge and a potential £2,000 incentive bonus (£29,000 OTE). 37.5hr working week. Other additional company benefits available, including an additional end of financial year service charge bonus. Transport is essential for this role due to location.
