CRP Group have been retained by one of there longest Autmotive Manufacturing clients to recruit a new Group SHEQ. This is a role that would ideally need someone to come in and build Health and Safety frameworks from ground up. Working with 5 divisions all with there own challenges it would require a neich skill set in balancing relationships and getting buy in from multiple stake holders.

A fun challenging role that allows you to work with some of the brightest minds in the Autmotive sector at the forefront of EV & Automotive development. You will lead the development of SHEQ across the company building a team to support you.

  • As Group SHEQ your main duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to.
  • Maintain and improve the health, safety, environmental and quality management system to ISO 9001 standard.
  • Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement such change at each site as necessary.
  • Ensure the business remains legally compliant in all health, safety, environmental and quality applicable legislation.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Overall responsibility for the strategic leadership and direction of all SHEQ management/compliance issues ensuring all employees are aware of the importance of and follow safety protocols.
  • Improving the safety and quality culture across the group through key safety behaviours and behavioural management with employee engagement.

Essential

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Quality Assurance Training
  • Ability to communicate and influence both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Strong organisational, IT skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
