About the Role
Base Location: Cardiff, Reading or Perth - this is a hybrid role working a minimum two days a week from one of the advertised base locations.
Salary: £33,063 - £38,404 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
As an Analyst within Smart Metering you will collate and record all Guaranteed Standard failures which have occurred from a metering appointment. You will own and maintain a business process that produces reliable and accurate data to our internal regulation teams for OFGEM submission. You will be expected to champion the role, deliver areas of improvement and cost saving initiatives where identified. Your role will include:
- The collation and issue of Guaranteed Standard failure data, ensuring data is accurate and consistent with other reports provided to the business.
- Being the point of escalation for Guaranteed Standard related issues with Metering Agents, you will own escalations, identify trends, costs and areas for improvement.
- Approving and rejecting all failure requests, adding associated payments to customer accounts, and preparing mail merge confirmation letters.
- Ensure any knowledge and training associated with Guaranteed Standards are provided to the necessary people to ensure we are operating effectively and efficiently.
- Complete monthly invoicing of all Guaranteed Standards failures for all meter asset managers, you will manage any issues or queries relating to the invoicing through to resolution.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Previous experience of working with data to identify patterns and trends.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data into tangible information.
- Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as the analysis and reporting will be used for OFGEM submissions.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to adapt delivery to the purpose, task and the target audience.
- Experience of working within the Energy Industry would be desirable.
