Our client, a leading company in the heart of Nottingham is looking for a team of Guillotine Assistants to manage the operation of the Guillotine associated equipment, maintaining quality, efficiency and safety at all times.

Main Duties:

• Ensuring correct job is on the machine - code/version etc.
• Ensure a comprehensive shift changeover when required
• To monitor and maintain quality of work produced.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality and output.
• To maximise machine output speed.
• To keep the machine area in good order.
• To pass on all relevant information to subsequent shifts.
• To report breakdowns or abnormalities immediately.
• To be fully conversant with all applicable Health & Safety procedures.
• To provide support and assistance across other Guillotines when required.
• To provide holiday and sickness cover across other Guillotines as and when required.
• Undertake to comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) and its associated policies.
• To maintain Lean Manufacturing standard.

Technical Qualities:

• Previous Guillotine experience
• City and Guilds or equivalent
• Literate and Numerate
• Full understanding of Health & Safety requirements
