Habitation Motorhome Technician Vacancy
  • Basic Salary up to £34,320 (up to £16.50 per hour)
  • 8:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday 
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays on rota
  • Overtime available 
  • Further training and qualifications. 
I am currently recruiting for a habitation technician in Northamptonshire. My client is a successful and trustworthy brand with a lot of experience in the motorhome/caravan sector of the trade. 

This is a great opportunity to work for a company with a family-feel, in their Rushden site. 

This vacancy primarily focuses on the living area of caravans and motorhomes, so experience with plumbing, electrical and gas experience/qualifications. Mechanical experience will also be valued, checking chassis and breaks etc. 

Key Responsibilities in this Habitation Technician role:
  • Habitation inspection
  • Woodwork & internal repairs
  • Heating system diagnosis and repairs
  • Fitting of accessories such as awnings, aerials and bike racks
  • Plumbing
  • Joinery
  • Gas works
  • Electrical installations
Habitation Technician Requirements
  • The successful Habitation Technician will ideally have previous experience in the motorhome service industry, however our client is open to candidate with electrics & / or plumbing qualifications that would like to get into the motor trade as a habitation technician.
  • Strong communication skills are essential in order to be able to communicate effectively with other team members and customers alike.
  • To qualify for the higher salary levels you will need some form of qualifications & experience relating to: Motorhome Technician, Caravan Technician, Habitation Technician
