Morgan Hunt are working with an Ofsted Outstanding training provider who are recruiting for a Hiar Assessor in Kent. This is a part time position (3 or 4 days per week) between Monday and Thursday. This is a permanent role paying up to £28,000 pro rata. The role also offers a company car and a bonus scheme. The client is looking for someone who possess an Assessor qualification however will consider someone willing to train to gain this qualification. The role will require travel across Kent, Essex and possibly London and Surrey.

The Hair Assessor will be responsible for:

  • Delivering and assessing the Levels 2 and 3 Hair Apprenticeships
  • Visiting salons to conduct assessments
  • Embedding Functional Skills
  • Ensuring all documentation is complete to meet awarding body compliance
  • Engaging with salon managers to promote the business and ensure future pipeline of learners
  • Conducting quality assurance reviews with the IQA

    The Hair Assessor will need to have:
  • A Level 3 in Hairdressing
  • Salon experience working up to managerial level
  • Preferably some teaching or assessing experience
  • Preferably an Assessor or Teaching qualification
  • A minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to meet company needs

    In return the Hair Assessor will receive:
  • An annual salary of between £26,000-£28,000 pro rata
  • A bonus of £100 for each learner completed successfully on time
  • A company car
  • Full training for Assessor qualification if not currently held
