Handy Person

A residential property managing agent is looking for a Handy Person to join their growing team.

This will be a Part-time or Full time permanent role offering flexible working hours working 3 -4 days or 5 days a week depending on preference.

Hours between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with one hour break. Paying up to £24,000 depending on experience and working hours.

What will you be doing as Handy Person:

  • Support the Maintenance Manager to ensure that rooms meet health / safety and maintenance standards.
  • Conduct daily maintenance and repair work.
  • Building patrols
  • Coordination of planned maintenance
  • Testing of fire alarms, apartment equipment, minor repairs, and other repair work that does not require a qualified specialist
  • Painting and other minor decorating tasks.
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Deliver exceptional customer service on a daily basis to residents while carrying out tasks

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in a similar position within the Maintenance industry
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good verbal and written English skills are essential for this role
