8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Pay:
£27k pa (negotiable depending on experience)

The Company: The UK's market leader in electropolishing and chemical surface treatment processes

Main Purpose:
To carry out electrical manufacture and repair, general factory maintenance and engineering duties including on-site work for plant and equipment customers.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
General, electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance activities
Repairs and modifications detailed in fixed wiring assessments and reports.
PAT testing and completion of records and documentation.
Calibration of rectifiers and temperature controllers in-line with equipment schedule. Update records and documentation.
Organise and manage measuring and monitoring equipment for external calibration in-line with equipment schedule.
Leaise with external contractors where required.
Leaise with Allianz insurance inspectors when required.
Complete weekly Fire Alarm tests in all buildings as required.
Complete monthly audit of emergency lighting for all facilities.
Manufacture of electrical equipment for customers as required
Customer site repairs, maintenance and installation activities for plant and equipment customers. This may include travel and overnight work.
Breakdown response and repairs.
Preventative maintenance schedule development and delivery.
Maintenance of all relevant documentation and records
Housekeeping of workshop/s, store areas and all work areas in all facilities.
Understand and adhere to Company Quality/Environmental/Health & Safety Management policies, processes and procedures.
Design and build processing jigs and fixtures. Demonstrate mechanical and workshop skills and experience. Use of stainless steel, copper, titanium and mild steel.
General duties as required.
Safe and full use of PPE.
Annual Inspection of Oxy Fuel Gas System in workshop
