Handyman/ Caretaker - City of London - Shoreditch

£36,000 *Includes paid break*

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

We are currently looking for a Handyman to join us in a 5*, high end residential building in Shoreditch- London on a temporary basis, with the possibility to go permanent. You will have the luxury of working with one of the largest, award winning property management companies in the city of London. Our client offers shift flexibility, opportunities to go permanent and training!

As a Handyman/ Caretaker you will be expected to;

  • Daily inspections of the Plant Rooms
  • Weekly inspections of the gutters around the Estate
  • Topping up the pressure in Plant Rooms when the pressure is low
  • Cutting the ceiling and doing the remedial works needed when Air Cool will need to change a pump/valve for the air con unit in flats or corridors, this will take few days
  • Taking care of the plants from the two gardens
  • Changing damaged locks for the riser cupboards
  • Adjusting the door closure mechanism for the Estate doors
  • Taking the air out from pipes, when flats don't have hot water
  • Cleaning the drains on all terraces of the Estate
  • Minor plumbing and carpentry
  • Clearing or cleaning general areas
  • Shifting or assembling equipment
  • Garden/landscape installation and maintenance
  • Footpath maintenance
  • Painting and decorating
  • ETC.
